In the series All Your Cities Belong To Us (2013-18), monolithic structures inhabit the urban landscape of a futuristic yet present-day London, giving Campos the opportunity to play with multiple signifiers (from terrorism and alien invasions to gentrification and protest), their representations, and resulting expectations by constantly frustrating any final resolution, subverting preconceptions and placing them in a state of estrangement. In doing so, the massive structures in the videos become an open repository for meaning: mute witnesses of an unfolding, yet-to-be-written story.
